  • O Bom Deus resolveu baptizar o 1º dia de trabalho no novo emprego com uma chuvada. Mas eu não me importo, pois são 10m de carro ao emprego e mais 30 segundos de caminhada. Tivesse eu de ir p/LX e já era uma chatisse. Alem disso é para o bem da horta do meu pai, pois diz ele que esta chuva vem mesmo a calhar.
  • Tá na hora de comprar uma conta pró do Fliquér. Já atingi o limite há meses e nunca mais lá meti nada. Não é que tenha grandes maravilhas para mostrar, mas…
  • Estou a namorar este jeitoso. É giro e potente. Mas tem o vista :(
  • Preciso de um monitor novo, estou oficialmente há um mês com um monitor crt do tempo dos pentium 100.
  • Passei as duas tardes do FDS a dormir. Adoro, ainda mais com chuva.
  • Fiz download de uma versão do Leopard para instalar no PC
  • Não se se chegarei a instalar a versão aqui de cima, porque devo pertencer a uma infíma minoria que não tem grande interesse em ter um mac, mesmo que tivesse €€ para isso. Mas pelo divertimento da experiência, talvez um dia tente.
  • Poderei fazê-lo, porque comprei + 2gb de memória para o pc. No entanto, a minha placa gráfica não suporta modos wide, o que é mau na escolha/compra do novo monitor.

It’s all about those wonder years, from about 94 to 2002. It was all about the music, and the cute boys in the bands. A satellite channel called Viva Zwei, and dozens of videotapes crammed with videos and videos.

Sometimes, and for precaution, the same video was taped in 2 or 3 different tapes, which is what we now call in IT, redundancy, or RAID5  :)

We saw the birth of Britpop, and it’s ashes. We spent a lot of money on magazines, most of them expensive, like Melody Maker and NME…but it was all worth it. We knew the shoe-sizes and girlfriends of every britpop star. Later With Jools Holland was a religious cult.

Aaah the boys: Nicky Wire, Damon, Brett Anderson, Jarvis, Crispian, and more. Even the Gallagher boys seemed attractive at the time.

I used to cut classes in the afternoon when MTV first started on SIC, just to tape the videos.

My best friend Rachel, who i met at Virgin in 98, after having first seen her and Tó at my first concert, Manics, has a blog where she shares all that stuff. She’s now moved to London, where she’s working as a sound technician. I absolutely love and miss her to death, so here is her blog:

I really need pass all my tapes to digital, as soon as i find a cheap PCI card for that, before the tapes get wrecked.
